Why Can't I See The Pictures?

If you are unable to see the pictures at the site and only see empty boxes with little red X's then most likely your firewall settings are preventing the images from being shown. Most visitors are unaware that their firewall is causing blocked images and some do not even realize that they have a firewall installed. There are many different firewall software programs available including Norton Internet Security and Norton Personal Firewall, Zone Alarm and Zone Alarm Pro and McAfee Personal Firewall just to name a few. Windows XP even has a built in firewall.

What Is A Firewall?

In basic terms a firewall is meant to protect your system from attacks.

How Is It Blocking The Images?

Firewalls often have many settings and configuration options. It is a setting in your firewall which is preventing the images from being shown.

How Come I Can See Images On Other Websites But Not Yours?

This site uses a script (a few lines of code) which prevents something called "Hotlinking". Hotlinking is when Website A steals images from Website B by linking directly to Website B's images. The average websurfer wouldn't notice hotlinking but to the owner of Website B it would be bad because not only is Website A stealing images from Website B it is also stealing Website B's bandwidth and bandwidth costs money.

The Conflict

As mentioned above this site uses a script which prevents hotlinking. It does so by allowing only www.Breastwatching.com to request images for display. If another site (for example: www.i_steal_hugetitsighting_pictures.com) attempts to hotlink Breastwatching.com's images viewers at that site will not see pictures but would see empty boxes with red x's.

So, a setting in your firewall is blocking something called a referrer. The referrer information is provided by your browser. If your referrer is blocked or disguised Breastwatching.com is unable to "verify" you and the image will not be displayed. In essence, because your referrer information is blocked, you are being treated as a hotlinker eventhough you are not.
